Worth Fighting For
Rory Fanning, signed by author
$25.00
Pat Tillman was an American pro-football player who turned down a contract for GBP 3.6 million in order to leave enlist in the U.S. Army, but he was killed in action in 2004. Original reports cited enemy fire; however, investigations proved that Tillman was killed by friendly fire and that the Army had covered it up. This occurred just days before Rory Fanning – who served in the same unit – left the Army as a conscientious objector. Disquieted by his tours in Afghanistan, Fanning set out to honour Tillman’s legacy by crossing the United States on foot. This is Fanning’s story.
